Our mission

“DPA helps shape the digital future of the legal profession.”

Modern communication and data exchange between the justice system and the legal profession is a necessity, and the Digital Platform for Attorneys sits at the heart of it. Through the platform, lawyers get secure access to a growing range of online services, so they can request, send and process information faster, more safely and more efficiently. We want to offer IT services that demonstrably increase the added value of IT and deliver a lasting advantage to the lawyer, by coordinating the offer and by understanding and bundling the needs of the profession, in consultation with the community bars.

Our story

From a partnership of the bars to an independent company

2014
Diplad CV

Diplad CV, the IT company of the Flemish bars, is founded.
2017
The platform goes live

The Digital Platform for Attorneys goes live with DPA-Deposit and RegSol.
2019–2023
The platform grows

BJB, Jbox, National Register and CBB searches, and JustRestart (November 2023) join the platform.
2024
An independent company

The notarial registers of Fednot are integrated; DPA-Deposit is renewed; on 12 June DPA becomes an independent company with the OBFG and the Walloon bars on board.
2025
eID, itsme® and the lawyer signature

Login moves to eID and itsme®, and the electronic lawyer signature replaces the lawyer card for signing.

Organisation

Board of directors

DPA was founded to provide ICT support to the bars, the bar associations and the lawyers of Belgium. The company is led by a board of directors composed on a parity basis, chaired by Manuel Pallage, and made up of people with a legal background and entrepreneurs with experience in IT companies from both communities.
