What it is

Legal assistance at the right time

The European Salduz regulation guarantees the right of suspects to have a lawyer present during questioning. For an arrested suspect (category 4), the presence of a lawyer during questioning is mandatory.

DPA-Salduzweb supports the practical organisation of this legal assistance. The application helps quickly find an available lawyer and efficiently connects the parties involved. This ensures that the necessary legal assistance can be organised in a timely manner and that the interrogation can take place with respect for the suspect’s rights.

In addition to category 4, DPA-Salduzweb also supports the organisation of legal assistance for minor suspects in category 3 and, in specific situations, for adult suspects in category 3, including in cases involving shootings and for vulnerable adults.

By digitally consolidating requests, availability and relevant information, DPA-Salduzweb simplifies collaboration between lawyers and the relevant authorities. The application thus contributes to a swift, structured and reliable organisation of legal assistance during interrogations.
