Why do I have to activate my lawyer signature manually via the portal?

During activation we check your identity with your national register number. This way we are sure that you are a practising lawyer, and we automatically show your title "lawyer" and your lawyer number with every signature. As soon as you are no longer a practising lawyer, your lawyer signature is deactivated.
